Get The Unsafe Rental - First Letter to Landlord - Notice to Landlord of Rental Safety Issue App

Better than a template and created by a lawyer. Try this legal app. A First Letter to Landlord is a written notice to your landlord about an issue in your rental home that makes it unsafe to live in. The letter should include details and evidence of the issue, like photos if you have them. You should send the letter as soon as possible so that your landlord is aware of the problem and can take steps to fix it. Keeping a copy of the letter and evidence is important in case you need to go to court to prove that your landlord knew about the issue.

If there is an issue that makes a rental home unsafe to live in, renters should tell their landlord in writing as soon as possible so that the landlord is aware of the issue and can abide by their obligations under the Warranty of Habitability.
